How to Use Fillhex
Fillhex runs entirely in your browser: pick a tool from the index, interact with the canvas, and enter fullscreen for edge-to-edge color or patterns.
Desktop users can press F or double-click the main area after focusing the page; Esc exits fullscreen on most browsers. Mobile users rely on browser menus or gestures documented by Safari and Chrome.
Switch language to pt-BR in the site header for Portuguese UI labels while keeping the same URLs and tools.
How to use
- Choose a tool from Tools or the home page.
- Click the canvas to focus, then enter fullscreen.
- Use Esc or exit control when finished.
- Open related guides if you are testing hardware.
Starting with black or white
Open the home black screen for pure #000000 or white-screen for brightness tests. Both pages load instantly without accounts.
Running display diagnostics
Use dead-pixel-test or color-slideshow in a dim room. Inspect edges and center on each color for at least ten seconds before moving on.
Video call lighting
Open zoom-light or ring-light on a secondary device. Lower brightness until your face is evenly lit without clipping highlights on the webcam.
Sharing links
Copy the page URL to share a specific color or tool with colleagues. Use message-display query parameters when the tool supports encoded text.
Offline and downloads
When Wi-Fi is unavailable, generate PNGs on download or wallpaper-generator pages and set them as OS wallpapers for similar effect.
Accessibility notes
Fullscreen color pages can be bright or flashing—avoid triggering photosensitivity. Pause slideshows if viewers request reduced motion.
